Lemon Water

Are you too lazy to work out? Me too. So I recommend to everybody the *drum roll* LEMON WATER!

This will help you to be sexier. How? Simple. Just add chopped lemons on your pitcher with water. It is more exhausting to do crunches than chop lemons. So ladies, do this if you are really lazy to do heavy workouts.

Drink the lemon water first thing in the morning. Be sure that you drink this before eating or just make sure that your stomach is empty before you drink this lovely potion. Then face the mirror and say "You are sexy" three times while holding the glass, only then will this potion work. (I hope you notice the joke)

A friend told me that lemon water can stabilize your heart rate. I don't know if that is true, I hope it is. Anyway, everybody knows that lemon is one badass healthy fruit. It contains a hell of vitamin C which helps boost your immune system. There's nothing to lose if you try this, just some fats and a little bit of money for the lemon.

Tito Renz Restaurant and Catering

Please excuse my younger brother. He likes to be in every photo I take. You may try going here in your pajamas, no one would stop you.

Well, this restaurant is quite old. My family always eats here since I was like fourteen. Before it was just a simple Filipino style kubo that serves Filipino foods. Soon, they expanded their business for catering.

As I mentioned, they serve Filipino foods. From tapsilog (or short order meals) to caldereta to sisig to buko shake to leche flan, they got it all for you (familiar tagline, I apologize).
Anyone ready for buffet? The business expanded really well these past few years and now they have buffet (but only for dinner). And it is only for a very affordable price of P198 per person. Yes! Just P198 per person (and yet, another familiar line). This comes with all-you-can-eat whatever they have on the table. Usually, they have like 5-10 main dishes I think, soup, tons of desserts usually pastries and sometimes sorbet. Sometimes there are even comedians in the place, making eating really hard. They will make you laugh will chewing, and I'm telling you, it is really hard.

It can be compared to the famous Cabalen which branches are spread through malls. Tito Renz Restaurants are located not on malls but along the highway so you can experience the feeling of eating inside a very large and open kubo. They both serve good Filipino food, though in my own opinion and taste preference, I like Tito Renz more. My younger brother like Cabalen more because he can make his own halo-halo-like gulaman-ish beverage-thingy, whatever that is he is making. (But nothing can compare to City Buffet which is like the best buffet place ever)

In addition, they also do catering services. You can have you party or meeting or whatever in their own (separate) place or in your house or wherever you want it to be held. It will only cost you P180 per head for a three main course buffet or P220 per head for a four main course buffet,  inclusive of 3-hour use of their venue which you can extend by paying P1000 per hour. You may contact them for booking.

So here's my opinion on Tito Renz Restaurant and Catering. Their food is good but not that fancy which you SHALL not expect for a Filipino cuisine, the place is great because it is real kubo with wide parking spaces and the price is the best because their food prices are very affordable and I mean it.

Tito Renz Restaurant and Catering Services is located along Quirino Highway in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. 10-15 minutes away from SM San Jose del Monte.

He Brews

I was with my older brother looking for a nice apartment in Golden Country in Alangilan. We were 30 minutes earlier than our appointment, and good thing there was a coffee shop in front of the compound.

The coffee shop was named He Brews. Sounds good and sophisticated for me. We decided to try it out. The place and ambiance around the shop is nice and it makes you stay there for a little longer. We ordered Honey Lemonade, Lemon Cucumber, Coffee Mint, Hazelnut Coffee, Carbonara and Tuna Sandwich. Too much for two persons right? All of those and we spent only P500.

They serve hot coffee, cold coffee, non-coffee beverages (which are lemonades), pasta, sandwiches and even rice meals. According to rumors, Carbonara was their best seller. I tried it and it was good. For the Coffee Mint, I didn't taste any mint actually. I am a mint-fan (is that even a word?) and I expect all the mintiness (I'm inventing words, aren't I?) from a mint-flavored food/drink. I am really disappointed with that. The Hazelnut Coffee tastes like peanut butter. The Tuna Sandwich was superb. I liked it so much. I'm not a fan of lemonades (of sour foods/drinks actually) so I can't comment on that. My brother said it was good, so let's trust him and settle on that.

Their foods/drinks ranges from (I guess) P60-P100. Quite cheap. The place was really good. There was a tiny space for mag-babarkada to do jamming because the shop provided a guitar, beatbox box (whatever that thing is called) and a chair for the singer. It was really cool. A very nice place for a tambayan.
